About Us

Terra Stoneworks handcrafts custom, artistic and functional stone surfaces. With a foundation in architectural design, we can provide design services to suit your needs, or we can interface with your own architect or interior designer. We are based in Nassau County, New York. We serve Long Island, Manhattan and the neighboring vicinity. Our professional experience includes membership with Cheng Concrete Exchange and The Concrete Countertop Institute (CCI). Please call for an appointment to discuss your project.

Colors

We can produce more than 20 colors of integrally pigmented concrete. We also offer custom colors and color matching. Color samples are available upon request.

Finishes

All colors come in two finishes:

1. Polished
This finish produces a polished surface, which retains the deep color and subtle mottling of the concrete cream.

2. Ground
Grinding removes the concentrated color of the cream and exposes the sand and aggregate. This produces slightly muted, earthy tones and interesting visual movement.

Each of our pieces is finished with the appropriate water-based sealer(s) and food-grade wax to match its function and the client’s tolerance (or intolerance) for staining.

Pricing

All of our custom work is priced according to size and complexity. Please email or fax a dimensioned drawing and we will contact you with an estimate. All work requires a signed estimate and a 50% deposit to start. Lead-time is typically 4 to 6 weeks.

Installation

Included in our estimate, most installations are 2-3 hours depending on the complexity of the job and the location.
